I got this idea from another group I’m in.

This does not include the people who are on hiatus but I think we need to do a clean up of the character list. So just reblog this post once if you’re still active and still want to be a part of the group. One reblog for each character not for each mun.

Troublemaker | Modern Maleficent and Esme

Esme nodded at the principal’s advice. “Yeah I know that.” She already knew about that advice with earning enough money to even be able to attend school and learn. She leaned back against her chair and folded her arms when the punishment was discussed. “I was not being disrespectful towards you and I will never help that awful librarian. Her and I don’t get along and I refuse to be the same room with her.” Esme sighed. That was the worst punishment of all to her, with having to help someone she hated. “I have a better idea. How about you just let me leave?” She extended her arm out towards Maleficent. “Deal?”

Maleficent narrowed her eyes. Was that fool challenging her autority? “No. You will go to detention, starting today. If you don’t come, I’ll have to expell you.” She said. Her voice was cold and full of autority. “If you can’t deal with the school rules, I’m afraid that you won’t be welcome to study here anymore. Now you can go. And I expect to see you later, in the library.” She said.

“Detention? I have never gone there before and I don’t start planning to now.  Nobody tells me what to do either.” At this point, Esme didn’t even care if she got expelled. She hated the way she was treated and how she was being talked down to by all the adults. There had to be another school in the city that would treat her with respect and wouldn’t have any rules. Esme stood up from her chair, grabbed her purse, and placed it on her shoulder. She then saw a stack of papers organized neatly on the principal’s desk. An idea came to mind. With both hands, she knocked over the stack and threw the papers all the around the room. A smirk came across her face. This would take hours to organize back. As she walked towards the door, she stepped on the papers with her heels, making sure to put a hole in them. She opened the door and turned once more to the principal, “Hope to never see you again.” She turned her back and walked out towards the hallway.

Esme hated being talked to this way and especially by her own principal. The principal she thought could help her in some way with her problems.”I will not treat you with any sort of respect unless you do the same for me.” She was orphaned as a little girl and really had no one to help her with respect as she had to teach it to herself, which was very hard for her. “So the advice you are informing me with, should be informed to you, not me. Got it?”

Esme sighed, “But you’re the principal…. You’re supposed to help your students. Why are you so stubborn?” Her lips were starting to feel chapped, so she took out her chap-stick from her purse and put a coat of her lips. “I’m tired of studying. Studying is all I ever do and it seems I can never get good grades no matter how hard I try. There is just no point in studying or working hard anymore.”

Maleficent sighed. “I can’t just give you the discount, miss Guybertaut. That would be unfair with the other students who are working hard. You must learn one thing, you will never recieve anything easily in life, you need to earn whatever you want.” She said. She usually didn’t give advices to other students, that was Reginald’s job, but she decided to make an expection this time.

The principal moved on the chair, trying to get more confortable. She intertwined the fingers of her hands on the desk as she placed her green eyes on Esmeralda. “Now, miss Guybertaut, we need to discuss about your punishment. Not only for dancing on the library’s table, but also for being disrespectuful to me.” She said. “Perhaps spending one month after class helping our librarian to reorganize the all books be enough.” Maleficent said.

Maleficent narrowed her eyes. It was the first demonstrantion of annoyance that she had shown and the principal tried to keep herself calm. I can’t let this brat see me angry, she thought, that’s exactly what she wants. “You will treat me with respect. This is my second warning, miss Guybertaut. It won’t have a third, you understand?” She said. Jafar was the Vice Principal but she was the one with the power to expel students and Esmeralda seemed to be forgetting this little detail.

“I can’t help you to get the discount. You have to earn it, like the other students and for that you need to study more and work harder.” She said. The principal remembered that day. She was particulary irritaded because she had to work during the night and hadn’t the chance to sleep very well. “If I were rude to your friend, it was only because I had my reasons. But, as you can see, I’m not rude at all, even you not giving me many reasons to be polite with you.”

Maleficent cold expression didn’t change, but anyone could feel her anger. When she spoke, her voice was calm, cold and full of menace. “Now remember one thing, young lady, you are not speaking with one of your classmates. I’m the principal of the school and I demand that you speak to me with respect.” She said. “Now, this school want only the best students and, for those who can’t afford but wish to study here, it’s necessary to keep their grade high so that they can earn a discount on the monthly fee.” She continued. Maleficent opened Esmeralda’s file in her laptop, seeing her grades. “I would give you that discount if your grades were good enough what, unfortunately it’s not the case.”

She looked at Esmeralda. She was indeed cruel with other students, but it was only because she loathed their existence. But her cruelty was what kept the school working and, above all, the students in line. They wouldn’t dare to do anything wrong if they knew that the punishment would be severe. “And I think that you heard wrong, miss Guybertaut. I’m not rude with my students.” Maleficent said.

(ops…. I thinkt that’s a little long XD)

Esme quirked a brow. “You demand me? Listen Mrs. Faery. I don’t care if you are the principal of the school, no one demands me under any circumstance.” She was starting to dislike the principal and being herself, she was always the one who would end up arguing. She calmed herself down and listened as her principal continued talking. The discount did interest her a great deal, but she was never going to get good grades, even if she tried. “Well what do you expect me to do then? I can’t get good grades…that’s it!” Esme sighed as she layed back in her chair. “I don’t believe they are. My friend Kathy told me you were rude to her for ripping the pages out of the textbooks.”

When she was called, Esme stood up from the waiting area and walked into the office where she sat down on the other side of the principal’s desk. She placed her purse next to her, as she didn’t want it to get dirty or accidentally forgetting about it. Placing her hands in the middle of her lap, she glanced up at Mrs. Faery and slouched herself. “I didn’t do anything wrong. The librarian is always just crazy and hates anyone who enters the library.” She took a moment to breathe before continuing. “Do you honestly believe dancing is a form of misbehaving? I certainly don’t think so.”

Maleficent shook her head, obviously not approving Esmeralda’s answer. The principal never liked her and always avoided her, sending her to Jafar’s office instead of her own. “Well, that’s why we have the dance club as an actvity here, miss Guybertaut.” Maleficent said. She placed her cold green eyes on Esmeralda, probably expecting a better explanation. “And, as far as I know, dacing on a table in the library it’s not the behavior expected from a young lady.”

Esme sighed at her principal’s response. Having dancing blood running inside her, she obviously knew about the dance club. It was one of the first things she found out about she first arrived. “I know we have one here, but I can’t afford it. I can barely afford to attend school.” That was true, she was only getting by with paycheck by paycheck. “Besides, what do you know about proper behavior? Everyone in the entire school says you are cruel and rude to others.”

Troublemaker | Modern Maleficent and Esme

mistress-of-all-e-v-i-l:

Maleficent was dealing with one of the student’s parents. The boy in question had grades too low compared to the other students of his class and she had to call his partents. Only his mother could come to her office and that was good enough for her. She hated to deal with students but hated even more to deal with their parents. “Listen mrs. Flowers, your son’s grades are too low. I’m afraid that, if he doesn’t study more to revert the situation he will no longer be allowed to study here. This school has a reputation that I can’t allow to be destroyed by one single student.” She said.

And it was true. Maleficent administered the school with an iron grip, being severe to the students and making them always give their best. Obviously that they did that beause they feared that they would be punished by the teachers or worse, being sent to the principal’s office what was not good. During this times she was glad that she had Jafar as Vice Principal. He understood her metods and, even better, loated the other students as much as her.

The principal was interrupted by the phone in her office. It could only be her secretary. She raised on finger mrs Flowers, asking her to wait a moment while she pick up the phone. “Yes? Another student? Send her in as soon as I’m finished my reunion with mrs. Flowers. Thank you.” She said. Maleficent spoke with the student’s mother for another hour, until both reached an agreement. When they left, the other student arrived.

Maleficent repressed the urge to narrow her green eyes. Esmeralda always was a trouble maker. But it was the first time that was sent to her office, since Jafar was usually the one who dealt with her. “Well, it seem that we weren’t behaving properly, were we miss Guybertaut?” She said. The principal indicated the empty chair in front of her desk. “Please, have a sit.”

When she was called, Esme stood up from the waiting area and walked into the office where she sat down on the other side of the principal’s desk. She placed her purse next to her, as she didn’t want it to get dirty or accidentally forgetting about it.
